ABSTRACT

The emergence of the internet led to an increase in the arranged population of the globe. When it comes to sharing information in today’s competitive market, social media platforms like Facebook and Twitter play a critical role since they allow a larger audience better access to data, allow for more open discussion, and allow for more coordinated action. A wide spectrum of participants, including celebrities, activists and non-governmental organisations, government entities, legislators, software developers, and more, are involved in the online media platform. The use of social media in the political experience of young people is on the rise in sociology of youth and politics. In the current political climate in India, there is a true, visible, and quick shift. When it comes to delivering information, social media is ideal because it can be used to reach a large audience quickly and easily. This article’s goal is to explore the impact of social media on the marketing of the Indian political system in light of current developments. Indian ideological groups and their top executives are analysing social media as a marketing tool to get out to the general population, and there is no doubt in saying this. As India’s young population has expanded, social media has become more prominent because they are the most internet-dependent people in the country. In addition, the article addresses the topic of the rise of social media and the youth in India, as well as the impact they have on the political atmosphere.
