Dr. Sunil Kumar, Dr. Rachna
Page No. : 31-37

ABSTRACT

The National Education Policy-2020 envisions providing a high-quality education that is useful to India’s rising economy. The new policy is primarily focused on three objectives: ensuring the best possible quality, equity, and integrity throughout the educational system, from pre-school through post-secondary education. Commerce and management education are critical to the economy of the country since they affect all sectors such as manufacturing, service industry, research and development, and banking. Finance is the nervous system of all fields, and knowledge of how to manage finance is dealt with in commerce and management. The current education policies in India place a premium on theoretical knowledge, which results in a lack of practical training for students, which is a significant disadvantage when it comes to matching global job prospects. As a result, the National Education Policy-2020 aims to foster the development of creative potential, skills, and analytic thinking, all of which are in demand in today’s global employment market. Thus, all commerce and management curricula should be redesigned around the concept of outcome-based education, where stakeholders may anticipate what they will learn and how it will benefit them to develop to meet future economic developments.
