ABSTRACT

Neo-liberal ideology is grounded in the classical liberal trade, which was primarily hailed by Adam Sumith in his treatis. The Wealth of Nations for Sumith the individual should be free from government interventions to enhance the Wealth of Nations. This market should be taken has a capable force that can coordinate the distribute goods and service effectively. Neo-liberalism is a theory of Poltical economic practices. Since the 1990 the word’ Neo-liberalism’ has been used for global markt liberalism and for the free market polices. Syachonizing with the opening up of educational paradigm displacing egalitarian commitments in education. Purpose of education particularly higher education in India. Lassez-faire economic provides best education facility to the students. There is a direct link between growth of private education institution and country’s economic growth. The main objective of this research paper are to see the chalanges and future prospects of Indian education system and also to examin the different government policies regarding Indian education system in the light of Neo-liberalism prospective. The typical policies associated with neoliberalisms include free trade, globalization, privatization, and changes in government spending to stimulate the private sector This paper aims to better understand the reasons for this neoliberal turn in higher education and explore the vispie and invisible ramifications of this paradigm shift in the policies for higher education in India. Hiepaper focuses on the origins and meaning of neoliberalism, its application, and practice in higher education, as well as the issues and critiques that have been raised in this context. The user offers both a critique of the neoliberal paradigm of marketized education.
