THE ROLE OF PROBABILITY IN POPULATION INFERENCE: A BRIEF OVERVIEW

Poonam Devi
Page No. : 99-109

ABSTRACT

We can use probability to extrapolate from a small sample to the whole population. Actually, inference is a technique used in probability analysis. In this study, the Binomial, Poisson, and Normal distributions are examined briefly. These are probability distributions, and they are often used in inferential analyses. Chiropractic and osteopathic researchers may benefit from an awareness of these distributions when conducting systematic reviews.
