Page No. : 100-108

ABSTRACT

Today’s fast-paced corporate world causes workplace stress, which harms employee health and productivity. This study examines the different ways workplace stress affects productivity and organization performance. This study synthesizes primary and secondary data from many sources to explain workplace stress dynamics. By examining the sources of workplace stress, we can see its major effects on productivity, morale, and organizational goals. We found that higher stress levels are linked to lower work performance and absenteeism, demonstrating the widespread impact of workplace stress on employee productivity. The study also shows that prolonged stress harms employee health and raises business healthcare costs. This research also explores how leadership, culture, and support networks can reduce workplace stress and create stress-proof firms. We identify effective stress management solutions to boost employee engagement and productivity. The study also examines proactive stress management and corporate performance. Our research reveals that companies who offer stress-reduction programs to their employees have an advantage in talent acquisition and retention. Proactively managing stressors and promoting employee well-being can create a positive work environment that boosts productivity and ensures long-term organizational success. This study emphasizes the need for organizations to recognize and address workplace stress as a strategic imperative for sustainable success.
