Page No. : 74-80

ABSTRACT

Training is typically defined as an ongoing process in which a learner is provided with the essential skills and information to do certain tasks more effectively, increase his productivity, and adapt to prospective change. The training instils high levels of confidence in the individual since they are able to comprehend a wide variety of subjects, and this confidence encourages them to work harder in order to produce new ideas. There is an ongoing need for employee development, and learning is a crucial component of this process in order to ensure the availability of competent staff. Training is a teaching process that entails the acquisition of knowledge, the development of skills, the explanation of concepts, and the adjustment of employee behaviours and attitudes in order to enhance employee performance. The major objective of every organisation is to improve its performance, but this will never be attained without excellent personnel performance. Ineffective operations may be hindered by a dearth of qualified employees in every business. This issue will lead to a multitude of further problems, such as poor performance, low productivity, and a lack of organisation. This issue can be addressed through training, which enhances employees’ abilities and capacity to achieve higher levels of productivity and performance. Additionally, many employees believe that an organization’s efforts to provide the appropriate number and type of training opportunities are laudable.
