RELATION BETWEEN PERFORMANCE AND CAPITAL STRUCTURE OF TELECOM FIRMS USING TREND ANALYSIS

ABSTRACT

The current research examined how capital structure has changed throughout time and its impact on the performance of Telecom companies for a period of ten years from 2010-2020. An attempt has been undertaken to observe the trend values of performance and to study the relationship between capital structure and performance using Bi-variate regression model for trend analysis. On the basis of overall analysis, it was found that the selected enterprises increased the leverage share in their capital structure. However, the downward trend in performance presents a negative relation between performance and capital structure.
