SYNTHESIS AND ANTIBACTERIAL EVALUATION OF PYRAZOLE DERIVED SOME NOVEL SCHIFF BASE

ABSTRACT

A series of some novel (1-Phenyl-3-substitutedphenyl-1H-pyrazol-4-yl) methylene hydrazide Schiff’s base derivatives has been synthesized and evaluated for their anti-bacterial activity against two gram-positive and two gram-negative bacteria. Among the synthesized compounds, (3-(4-Fluorophenyl)-1-phenyl-1H-pyrazol-4-yl)methylene isonicotinohydrazide and (3-(4-Nitrophenyl)-1-phenyl-1H-pyrazol-4-yl)methylene isonicotinohydrazide displayed excellent activity against all the bacterial strains employed.
