IMPLEMENTATING THE IRIS BASED SECURITY USING PARALLEL PROCESSING

ABSTRACT

In this paper we have enhanced the tradition iris processing system by introducing new mechanism such as parallel processing. Here we have discussed some biometric techniques and their benefits. We have also made comparative analysis of existing biometric techniques with iris based security system. Iris system is usually used in security. We have also reduced the size of biometric sample by applying some edge detection mechanism. Then we have also applied parallel computing approach to reduce the time consumption.
