INTERNATIONAL SPORTS ACHIEVEMENTS OF YASHPAL SOLANKI LEAD TO ARJUNA AWARD

ABSTRACT

In India, Arjuna award is a glory given to the sport person for their achievements at International Level of his game. Every year sportspersons from different games get the Arjuna Award from Indian Government on the basis of their outstanding performance. Arjuna award is popular among new generation sportspersons. Many Indian judoka got this glory for their achievements at different championships because of their spirit and will power. An Indian judoka, Yashpal Solanki got this award for his performance in National and International level. This present study highlight the international achievements of Yashpal Solanki in judo and as Arjuna Awards judoka also become a youth icon for new generation sports person in judo.
