IMPLEMENTATION ON ANALYSIS IMPACT OF RANDOM & UNIFORM NODE PLACEMENT IN GRID ENVIRONMENT TO IMPROVE ROUTING PROTOCOL

ABSTRACT

In present work, two different categories of protocols have been studied under three node placement models. From simulation results, we found that Reactive protocols perform well as compare to proactive protocols in all three node placements. By comparing three node placement models, we could conclude that uniform node placement model is best among three & performance of protocols in random node placement is very poor than two. Grid node placement model is better than random but slightly behind than uniform node placement.
