has been concluded that according to the census of 1971 literacy rate was 34.45
percent which increased to 72.98 percent in 2011. In the same way rural
literacy rate in 1971 was 27.90 percent which increased to 66.77 percent in
2011. On the contrary urban literacy rate in 1971 was 60.20 percent which
increased to 84.11 percent in 2011. As per the census of 2011, the highest
literacy rate (94.0 percent) was found of the state of Kerala and the lowest
was of the state of Bihar with 61.8 percent. The researcher has made a modest
