INVESTIGATE THE CONTRIBUTION OF HYBRID APPROACHES AS AN EFFECTIVE MEANS OF TASK SCHEDULING AND LOAD BALANCING IN CLOUD COMPUTING

ABSTRACT

Because of the many advantages that cloud computing models provide, they are gaining mainstream popularity. Cost-effectiveness, time savings, and efficient use of computer resources are among them. However, concerns about privacy and security are among the biggest roadblocks to broad use of this new technology. Customers must shift their data to the cloud because of the nature of these paradigms. Because service providers are frequently in charge of data security and privacy, data owners may be unaware of the underlying security concerns and solutions. Large-scale organization and use of distributed computing in industry is accompanied by, and at the same time inhibited by, concerns about the security of information handled by distributed computing vendors.
In which a local network is linked to a Cloud network, and some network data is broken out of the local network and stored in the Cloud, but the core data remains on the local network. In this case, the Cloud provider does not have any advantage in terms of physically accessing the data in the local network. However, the Cloud may sometimes need access to data stored on the local network; as a result of this access, there is a risk of unauthorised access to local network resources. It depicts a typical network security problem in which data may be subjected to both active and passive assaults. Disguising, replayattacks, message modification, and denial of service are among the active assaults. Traffic analysis is used in passive assaults. These attacks are more likely to occur when a large amount of data is sent from the client network to the Cloud network.
