In a solution when a solute is dissolved in the solvent, the molecules of the solvent in excess force themselves to separate the solute particles and release them from the bonds that combine them in pure state. The role of solute in solvent has gained the attention of several workers in describing the structural behaviour of solute and solvent in solutions during the past decades. In recent years the measurement of density, viscosity and ultrasonic velocity have become valuable tools to obtain the more information about the liquid state due to their close dependence on liquid structure and macroscopic properties. These measurements provide valuable information about molecular packing, molecular motion and various types of intermolecular interactions among the factors which influence their strength by the size, shape and chemical nature of the component molecules. Solvent plays a media role in the growth of particle size and distribution. The influence of solvent on preparation of Nano spheres has been utilized in the preparation of silica Nano spheres.
