There is a common proverb ‘Healthy body in healthy mind’. It means maintaining a level of physical fitness and a balance is beneficial for both physical and mental health. Modern day living is multifaceted compendium of evolving technology and social media communication outlets are changing every part of our lives so rapidly that it can be tough to adjust. Everyone face a lot of issues in daily lives. Many of us manage to come out of these and stay calm and others may not be able to take day to day stresses with ease and keep on worrying all the time and such individuals are at risk of psychological issues like anxiety, stress, depression etc. These individuals are said to be having mental health issues. C. W. Beers was the person who coined the term mental hygiene in 1908. It aims of preventing and treating mental illness and milder mental disorders.
