Computing is increasingly significant in computer science, engineering, and other fields in today’s technology-driven culture. We examine how discrete mathematics can improve students’ computing skills in this study. Discrete mathematics, a foundation of the area, teaches problem-solving, logic, and algorithmic reasoning. This study uses a comprehensive literature review and case studies to demonstrate discrete mathematics’ benefit in improving students’ computing skills. This paper teaches discrete mathematics concepts with direct applications in computer science, graph theory, combinatorics, and set theory. Integrating discrete mathematics into teaching and curriculum helps students build computational abilities for real-world issues. The research also examines how math and computer science teachers working together can improve teaching. This project wants to boost students’ abilities to develop and flourish in a variety of professional domains by improving their discrete math and computational skills.
