ABSTRACT

Cloud computing is one of the emerging technologies that opens new door for innovation in the computer industry. It offers flexible resources, reliability, increased performance and facilitates reduced IT costs. Various service models are based on the concept of sharing on-demand computing resources, software, and information over the internet. One of the benefits, “pay only for what you use” has supported organizations to grow faster and efficiently without need to buy and manage their own physical resources. Clear comprehension of cloud computing will aid in the growth and adoption of this developing technology for business as well as academia. This paper aims to offer an overview of cloud computing trends, types, challenges, tools, and a comparative analysis of various tools for cloud testing.
