ABSTRACT

The Government of India has been putting a lot of effort into ensuring that higher education and the training of teachers are of a high quality in order to realize their goal of improving the overall standard of education at all levels. The quality of teaching has been the subject of many studies, which may be found lining the shelves of many research libraries. In the 21st century, discussions about what it is, how it is formed, and how it is connected to student accomplishment have become the characteristic of educational slang. In this essay, we will first present an overview of the concerns and evaluations concerning teacher education in India, and then we will explore the difficulties and obstacles that are associated with teacher education. Several research on the dynamics of the classroom and how teachers interact with their students in a few different areas are cited. In addition, research is conducted to investigate whether or not teacher profiles may be used to motivate staff growth and academic advancement. The educator assumes a central role in the overall educational process and serves as the primary agent for instigating positive changes within the teaching and learning environment. Therefore, it is crucial to prioritize initiatives that promote the development of educators’ innovative and creative abilities. It is evident that a teacher who possesses self-motivation and demonstrates a strong work ethic will possess the ability to rely on their own resources to continuously update their knowledge and skills.
