A DEEP STUDY ON VARIOUS TYPES OF HUMAN SKINS

ABSTRACT

The skin is the biggest organ of the integumentary system and the body’s outer layer. There are as many as seven layers of ectodermal tissue protecting your muscles, bones, ligaments, and organs under your skin. The skin of most other animals is comparable to human skin, and it is especially similar to the skin of pigs. Hair follicles cover virtually all of a human’s skin, although sometimes it seems like there are none there. It’s common knowledge that hairy skin and glabrous skin are the two primary categories of skin (hairless). Skinned is the literal meaning of the term cutaneous (from Latin cutis, skin).
Skin’s immune function is crucial in preventing the body from contracting diseases and losing too much water due to its constant contact with the outside world. Insulation, temperature control, feeling, vitamin D production, and B-vitamin folate protection are only some of its other roles. Scar tissue forms when the body attempts to repair severely injured skin. Discoloration and loss of pigmentation are commonplace with this.
