Page No. : 560-566

ABSTRACT

This research attempt by the researchers is a step towards the exploration of the ideological challenges faced by documentary filmmakers, specifically focusing on filmmaking students in Delhi and the National Capital Region (NCR). By employing a survey as the method of research, the study aims to assess the level of awareness among filmmaking students regarding ideological biases in filmmaking and examine the impact of training on their perception of these biases. Additionally, it seeks to explore the strategies employed by filmmakers to address ideological biases in the filmmaking process and evaluate their effectiveness.
The study utilizes a non-probability convenience sampling method due to the limited availability of a complete sampling frame. Participants voluntarily and anonymously complete a structured questionnaire designed to gather data on their perceptions and experiences related to ideological challenges in documentary filmmaking.
