Pramod Kumar Pandey, Prof. (Dr.) Bandana Pandey
Page No. : 74-82

ABSTRACT

NGOs have been the mainstay of stability in the modern democracies. Although not entirely true, it still holds a significant truth that NGOs have always been seen as counterforces to the malfeasance within the state governments. This research therefore aims to explore the perception and the impact of NGOs through a survey-based study with a specific focus on NGO workers, volunteers and the general public. The study further seeks to understand the experiences, motivations and challenges faced by all NGO stakeholders and the subsequent impact. This survey based research aims to contribute to a 360 degree understanding of the role and effectiveness of NGOs in addressing the issues of the society and inculcation of positive change.
