AN ANALYSIS OF EXPORT PERFORMANCE OF MSME SECTOR IN INDIA

ABSTRACT

The Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprise (MSME) Sector has developed as a highly lively and dynamic sector for the economic growth of a country. This report seeks to estimate the export performance of India’s MSME sector. The study is analytic in nature, and the necessary secondary data were acquired from numerous publications, books, the Reserve Bank of India, and the websites of MSMEs. For data analysis, statistical tools such as percentage, mean, standard deviation, GAGR, and trend analysis were utilised. The result reveals an upward trend in the MSME sector’s contribution to India’s total exports during the study period.
