USE OF XERIC PLANTS IN AGRICULTURE MANAGEMENT IN ARID AREA OF BHADRA TEHSIL (RAJASTHAN)

ABSTRACT

Agriculture farm consists of basically the shelter for animals and other accessories. The vegetation of xerophytic area used in construction of the form is examined here. The vegetation is described by studing and examine the area with the help of local people, using photographs and literature of the Rajasthan. The different parameters are farm shelter, fodder, tools and implements in agriculture. For the construction of shelter 23 different genus of plants are used for the construction of hut, fences, hedges, supporting pillar which includes Acacia spp., Saccharum spp. etc. For the formation of farm articles 31 genes are detailed for the formation of ropes, baskets, poles, boundaries of sieve including Calotropis spp., Ficus spp. and many more. Agriculture implements are formed from 11 different genera for the formation of wheel, sickle, tools, pulley from Acacia spp., Dalbergia spp. There are 20 genera discussed for fodder production including Haloxylon spp. and Ziziphus spp. For the efficient usage of land Agroforestry is described to enhance the economic balance of farmers by growing Acacia spp., Albizia spp. with the crop.
