To some extent, a girl’s adolescence is characterised by her leaving the care and protection of her mother and entering a world governed by her father’s standards. In the current paper, it is evaluated how the heroines adjust to their new life circumstances and stage. Concurrently, it is examined how their relationships with men change as a result of their maturation into women and sexual objects.
