Gymnastics has gained worldwide popularity since its inclusion in the 1896 Olympic Games. Gymnastics is an artistic and aesthetic sport that demands a lot of practice, high-level technical movements, a lot of repetition, and a variety of skills like dexterity, body resistance, balance, synchronization, flexibility, agility, strength, endurance, and performance of acrobatic skills with artistic precision. Gymnastics competitions need a high level of physical and psychological stress. Gymnasts must go through a long and arduous preparation procedure to develop their motor characteristics and technical requirements in order to compete. The conceptual framework in this paper supports the efficacy of aerobic dance training as a kind of physical fitness exercise. The researchers concluded that aerobic dance exercise program could have effect on physiological variables and that the program’s outcomes are determined by the kind, intensity, and application model used. Aerobics dance exercise program also facilitate psychological skills vital for achieving a level of excellence in sports performance. The present paper suggest that systematically designed aerobic exercises improve performance by enhancing the carefully chosen dependent variables, which are important assets for excellent performance in practically all sports and activities. It can be stated that systematically and scientifically prepared aerobic exercises in gymnastics should be given due respect and appropriately applied in all disciplines’ training programmes in order to obtain optimal performance.
