AN OVERVIEW OF EFFICACY OF INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY IN TEACHING AND LEARNING

ABSTRACT

Technology-based teaching and learning tools and facilities are needed around the world, and teachers will gain from integrating information, communication, and technology (ICT) to satisfy this demand. It is widely believed in India that ICT would have a significant impact on the country future development. In order for technology-based teaching and learning to be a success, instructors must be properly trained with ICT tools and facilities. Teachers professional development training programmes are an important part of helping to improve the quality of their pupils education. There are other aspects of ICT integration that should be considered in future research, particularly with regard to strategic planning and policy development.
