The sleeping patterns of human being change with age, time and his environment. However, the most fluctuating sleeping habits are found during adolescence. Here, in this paper, the authors describe the use of quantitative-based assessment instrument to provide an initial indication of adolescence sleep problem. Authors decided to choose their target population for the research as the undergraduate students, who pursue different courses from a college of a metropolitan city of India. They found that most of the students exhibited some form of sleep disturbance and that females reported more sleep disturbance than males. They suggested how colleges and universities officials can alter procedures to minimize student’s sleep disturbances and negative effect of sleep problems on their academic performance.
