ABSTRACT

Alstonia schoiaris R. Br. Is an ever green tree native to southeast Asia and Australia. It is commonly used as a medicinal plant throughout the world. In the present study we investigate the changes in morphological features in normal and galled leaves of Alstonia scholaris R, Br. (Apocynaceae) infested by the insect Pauropsylla tuberculate (Order: Homopetra). Leaves are collected from three different locations in Agra city. In morphological changes we study about the colour, size and shape of the leaf and galls.
