In modern era the geographical situation such as climate change is a complex issue with vast and varied dimensions and implications. It effects the very survival of life on earth. Risks emanating from climate change are indeed profound, and call for urgent attention. Since 1850, the average global temperature has increased by 0.76°Celsius, and if future emissions of green house gases largely released due to human activities are not checked, they are likely to rise between 2°Celsius and 4 °Celsius within next century. Climate change poses a challenge for all, but populations of developing world are more vulnerable, firstly because of their geographic locations (low lying coastal areas at particular risk of severe social and economic disruptions from sea level rise &storms) and secondly due to weak infrastructure, overpopulation, dependency on agriculture for livelihood. Poverty and so on... In this paper, some of the most important impacts of climate change on different sectors in developing economies have been discussed, and it is concluded that without proper adaptation strategies climate change is likely to have a significant negative impact not only on economic development but human well being as well.
