The choices of scale (1-7) may be, for convenience, categorized as that of Good-Better-Best (the better off), Average and Bad-Worse- Worst (the worse off), to facilitate easier interpretation of the perceived understanding of the urban people of Jhajjar district as to the nature, value & knowledge of the environmental, services. Urban areas are generally healthier than most urban places. Urban Jhajjar is no exception. It has been emerging as a popular tourism destination for much of the domestic as well for international tourists. Health care, both private and public, is widely available within the district and high-tech, multi-specialty services are available in the city of Jhajjar. While the public health care is almost free, for the poor and the marginal people, private services are rather expensive but of high quality. Yet, availability of health services is better off only for 48.7 per cent of the people (for 20.0 per cent of them, it is better; and for 22.3 per cent of them, it is good). As much as 33.7 per cent of the urban people perceive that the health services availability is worse-off and 40.3 per cent of them it is average. Thus, a little more than a third of the urban folks appreciate health services availability and the rest not available or just about available (average).
