Page No. : 9-15

ABSTRACT

An earthquake is a perceptible shaking of the Earth surface, because of the sudden arrival of energy in the outside layer of the earth which creates seismic waves. Over the span of history we have been observer to a few savage earthquakes which have annihilated whole urban communities and caused a huge size of devastation in our general climate. The seismic movement of a specific region, can be known by dissecting the earthquakes happened there throughout a time span, the recurrence, size and kinds of earthquakes are thought about. In contrast to other natural disasters like storms, where anticipating the area and timing of landfall is turning out to be progressively exact, the logical comprehension of earthquakes doesn’t yet consider exact earthquake forecast. All things being equal, notice and cautioning ordinarily include conveying the area and greatness of an earthquake at the earliest opportunity after the occasion to crisis reaction suppliers and other people who need the data. The current exploration paper makes a logical investigation of event, causes and ecological effects of the earthquakes.
