FACE RECOGNITION SYSTEM

ABSTRACT

The task of face recognition has been actively researched in recent years. This paper provides a review of major human face recognition researches. We will first give introduction to face recognition and its applications. Then, a short literature review of the most recent face recognition techniques follow. Face Recognition system uses various approach like Genetic Algorithm, Neural Network, Template Matching etc. and has its own advantages and disadvantages based on various factors such as illumination, acquisition device used and many more. It is generally incorporated in security systems and is further developing to achieve accuracy and efficiency.
