THE CONCEPT OF COMPUTERIZATION OF LIBRARIES AND THEIR ROLE IN EDUCATION SYSTEM

ABSTRACT

The Computerization of library, shows you how they are used in education, and lets you experience the use of a Computerization of library collection for finding information.  The Chapter is divided into three units. The first analyses the concept of Computerization of libraries and shows examples in an eclectic range of areas, with an emphasis on cultural, historical, and humanitarian applications, as well as technical ones. The second introduces the ways in which Computerization of libraries are being used in education and explores potential uses, too. The third introduces the Greenstone Computerization of library software, which is used throughout this course.
