ABSTRACT

Acne is a multi-factorial disease. Acne appears on face, neck, chest, back and shoulders. These areas of skin have the most oil (sebaceous) glands. Four main factors cause acne are Oil production, Dead skin cells, Clogged pores and Bacteria. Microorganisms associated with acne lesions is Propionibacterium acnes. Growth hormone, IGF-1 and Androgen are responsible hormones, Low levels of vitamin C and E, zinc, selenium, and carotenoids contribute to acne. It often correlated with GI tract dysfunction. Many spices and fresh herbs are anti-inflammatory, anti-microbial and immune-boosting. Some external factors like no cleansing before exercising, Pollution, Reaptedly face Touching, some Skin care products and Picking to skin.
