ABSTRACT

This paper contrasts the impact of nonperforming assets in District Central Cooperative Banks in India during a period of 2007-2014. Gross NPAs were 20.50% of total gross advances and net NPAs were 8.39% of total net advances as on March 31, 2014 which signifies a threat to the profitability of DCCBs. This also causes a negative impact on the financial economy of our country.
