A CRITICAL EXAMINATION OF DECISION TREE AND ITS INDUCTION

ABSTRACT

Decision Tree is one of the data mining classification methods. Due to high speed, higher precision, easier structures and less expensive building applications of decision trees are increased. They can be converted into uncomplicated classification rules which are easy to understand. They are widely used in many fields of application such as medical diagnosis, education, credit risk assessment, because they are predictably correct. KDD’s primary purpose is to classify the decision table, table-search rules, transform into optimal decision-making bodies, induce decision-tables. The Decision Tree is a thoroughly competent classification and evaluation method.
